Harassed and beat down by a mob of angry 4th graders

I’d rather be… harassed and beat down by a mob of angry 4th graders then go to school tomorrow.
I don’t know how they got mad or why they’re choosing to harass and beat me, but I wish it was happening and I wish it was a good enough excuse to get out of the hell (so to speak) that awaits me. Ok, maybe I’m being a little dramatic.

Nonetheless:
Tomorrow just happens to be a “B-day” at the school that I go to. So many exciting classes await me. So many assignments I could be doing right now instead of writing on this blog. Needless to say, the above was a good old fashioned case of sarcasm. B-days mark the dawn of mourning and grief. To begin with I go to a Math class. Then, I go to Science. After that, I get to go to seminary! My favorite class of the day! No need to mention that there was no exception to my sarcasm in the last statement.

Truthfully, I don’t think anyone really enjoys school. Sure, you have your average person that is super duper excited about acing that math test or seeing how many words they can spell right on the spelling bee. But I would bet that your average person is going to school because it’s required and you’re hopeless in life without it. This fact is widely accepted and deep down we’re all glad that schooling systems exist.

I’m no exception to hating school and would honestly rather be harassed and beat down by a mob of angry 4th graders then go to school tomorrow.
This concludes the first session of “I’d rather be….”.
Until next time….
