Fedex Kinkos store using windows 98 on their computers?

What is the deal here? My brother and I went to a FedEx Kinkos tonight to get a custom mouse pad made for a Christmas gift. I couldn’t help noticing the computer the guy was helping us with. It was a basically brand new Flat panel monitor and with the looks of the monitor, I couldn’t help but imagine how nice the computer must be. I kept looking at the computer and was somewhat stunned when I realized it was running Windows 98! WOW! I don’t remember the last time I had seen a computer running this dinosaur of an operating system! The whole purpose of this post is to pose to my large audience this question: Why is FedEx Kinkos running windows 98? Why? I can totally understand why a company would not upgrade to Windows Vista, but honestly. Is Windows XP really too complicated for the FedEx computer systems? After all of my making fun and laughing, I really think it’s interesting and I’d really like to know the answer.
