Check these guys out! http://www.indymogul.com/ I’ve been interested in video editing and movie making for the past couple of years. I just stumbled across this website/podcast about a month ago. Their whole purpose is to educate amateur film makers. Your typical podcast episode will show the crew building some prop and then at the end, demonstrating the prop with a comical movie.
It would be worth your time to go to their website if you’re the least bit interested in making/editing films.
