Goals are always good, and the last time I set one I reached it. It took a bit longer than I wanted it to, but I definitely reached it.
1. Go back to school.
Yeah, I think I’m going to finally go back. I think I want at least a Masters degree out of this life. Just so I don’t look like a complete loser. All the money in the world can’t buy you a Masters degree. It must be earned. I hate school more than anybody I know, but there are just some basics in business and marketing that I think I need to obtain just for the perspective if for no other reason.
2. $20,000 in investment accounts (Roth IRA, CD’s, Stocks).
It will suck to sacrifice $20k now, but it will be a nice payoff when I turn 50, that is, if I’m not dead yet.
3. Make $100,000 profit.
That’s roughly $274 a day for 365 days. BFD. I’m pretty sure I can hit that mark.
4. Stop being a slacker.
I could be making 10 times more money than I am if I simply put in 10x the effort. That’s some pretty good cash. I’m tired of being lazy and unproductive. And trust me, once you start making money while you sleep, it’s 10x easier to be 10x lazier when you don’t necessarily “have” to be working for a decent paycheck at the end of the month.
5. Defragment & simplify my digital life.
From deleting email accounts to hiring a few VA’s, I’m going to start making things easier on myself. Checking 20 different email accounts at the beginning of every day isn’t only frustrating and time wasting, it’s stupid. In addition to simplifying I am going to start outsourcing hardcore. I have already started outsourcing some of my content writing (I’ll tell you more about that in one of my later posts), and it’s awesome. Paying somebody $8.00 to write an article for you that has the potential to make you $9,000 in a month is a beautiful thought.
