I’ve been wondering if the Aweber lightbox has any negative affects on my organic SEO. I decided to ask the happy people at Aweber if they knew anything about it. Here’s what they said:

Chris Clements: I’m unaware of any negative effects of a lightbox on SEO.
Chris Clements: I’d be happy to consult my supervisor in regards to it. Can you hang on for a moment while I do so?
Chris Clements: My supervisor is not aware of any negative effects of those forms on search engine optimization. I also ran a quick search through our documentation and through Google with no results indicating a conflict.
So there you have it, my friends. The Aweber lightbox doesn’t have a negative impact on your SEO efforts – at least not according to Aweber.
