Loading ...From Mogul To Diamond. No Regrets.
Alright, I’m sure I’m not being 100% original with the title of this post, but nonetheless, this phone is beautiful. Among all of the other options to choose from, Sprint’s Diamond by HTC is easily one of the most beautiful pieces of equipment I have ever had the privelege to own. It definitely beats all of the other ugly gadgets out there.
I’ll spare you a full review. There are already plenty out there. What I will say for now though is this:
I previously owned an HTC Mogul (on Sprint’s network as well). I was really worried about how much I would miss the physical QWERTY keyboard. I honestly haven’t missed it much. The full on-screen QWERTY is really pretty easy to use – especially with the stylus. I don’t have the urge to text as much, but I can still accomplish what I need to on the go easily and quickly. Look at it this way: the time you will take to push the buttons on the Diamond is equal to the time it takes the Mogul to load after you open the physical QWERTY keyboard.
The screen is super, super-duper responsive. It’s a million times better than the Mogul. The best part is that I don’t have to carry a brick in my pocket anymore. I never realized how much room in my pocket the Mogul took up until I slipped this sexy piece of machinery in my leg pouch. If you are on the border about getting the Diamond or the Touch Pro (with a full QWERTY), go with the diamond. You’ll be glad to have the extra pocket space and you won’t be looked upon as a complete idiot when you pull a brick out of your pocket.
The Diamond will set you back a few hundred dollars, but it definitely gives you that extra bounce in your step, that twinkle in your eye, and the [insert another lame example here].
